BS&B® Safety Systems Introduces LSR™ Reverse Buckling Rupture Disk

BS&B Safety Systems introduced the LSR™ Reverse Buckling Rupture Disk with burst pressures ranging from 2 psi (0.14 bar) to 300 psi (20 bar) for varied applications requiring low and medium burst pressures. The LSR combines new performance features with the trusted platform recognized in the Sta-Saf® family of rupture disks.

Sustainability is at the forefront in the design of the LSR rupture disk. BS&B is focused on working smarter, consuming fewer resources, generating less waste, and ensuring responsible stewardship for our industry, the community, and environment. The LSR consists of a single piece construction that minimizes product material and is compatible with the SRI-7RS™ safety head that is designed with reduced material from its patented casting-based design. No water is consumed in the LSR rupture disk manufacturing process, and it is manufactured in a facility with ISO14001-2015 environmental management certification. The LSR is individually packaged for protection in recyclable cardboard cartons marked with clear disposal.
